Q: Mr. Zoorob, what led you to form your company, Natural Miracles?
A:I have always had an interest in herbs and plants, even as a child. I was also curious and inquisitive. I watched carefully and asked many questions about herbs, their uses, benefits, and formulas, etc. One older, herbalist, lady predicted I would have a great future in the herbal industry. This woman actually asked me to help her in the preparation of her formulas and gave me special attention.
As I grew older my interest in herbs grew also and the things I learned from that herbalist never left my memory. Finally in 1998 I began pursuing my dream in earnest. Q: Can you describe the plants for us? How tall? When and where they grow? The best time for harvesting etc.?
A: Gladly! Several of these plants are shrubs that grow high up in mountains and valleys. These shrubs are approximately two to three feet high. Some have velvet like leaves with no flowers. Others have bright green sticky leaves with bright yellow flowers like daisies. While some other varieties have dark green leaves with purplish flowers.
Each plant has a special time of the year to be harvested in order to obtain the best therapeutic powers. Some in the spring, others in summer while in full bloom, and some in the fall when they have produced seeds.
We were so excited when we found the herbs we were looking for. However, we were going to need these plants in sufficient quantities for manufacturing. So we began an extensive search using more sophisticated methods. The plants must be harvested and the extracts distilled, this is a difficult process. So we needed to find experts who could identify these plants as well as know when to harvest them. In addition, we needed experts who could process these plants so that we could obtain the maximum therapeutic properties from them. Q: So you obtained the distilled extracts and your project is finished, correct?
